ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଡ୍ରଗ୍ସ କାରବାର ରୋକିବାକୁ ଏସଟିଏଫ୍ରେ ଏକ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ନାର୍କୋଟିକ୍ସ ୟୁନିଟ୍ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ପାଇଁ ଅନୁମୋଦନ ମିଳିଛି । ଏଥିଲାଗି ଜଣେ ଏସପି, ୩ ଡିଏସପି ସହ ୨୭ଟି ନୂଆ ପଦବୀକୁ ମଞ୍ଜୁରୀ ମିଳିଛି । ଏହା ଡ୍ରଗ୍ସ କାରବାର ରୋକିବାରେ ସହାୟକ ହେବ । ଆଗକୁ ଡ୍ରଗ୍ସ କାରବାର ରୋକିବାକୁ ଆହୁରି ଦୃଢ଼ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରାଯିବ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି ପୋଲିସ ଡିଜି ଅଭୟ ।
ରାଜ୍ୟ ପୋଲିସ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଜାରି ଏକ ପ୍ରେସ୍ ବିବୃତିରେ କୁହାଯାଇଛି, ୨୦୨୦ ପରଠାରୁ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ନିଶା କାରବାର ବିଶେଷ କରି ବ୍ରାଉନ୍ ସୁଗାର କାରବାର ବଢିଚାଲିଛି । ଏହି ଅନୁସାରେ ପୋଲିସ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ମଧ୍ୟ ବୃଦ୍ଧିପାଇଛି । କେବଳ ୨୦୨୦ରେ ୩୫ କିଲୋଗ୍ରାମ ୬୧୬ ଗ୍ରାମ୍ ବ୍ରାଉନ୍ ସୁଗର ଜବତ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ପୋଲିସ କହିଛି । ଏହାସହ ୨୦୨୧ରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ୯ କେଜିରୁ ଅଧିକ ଓଜନର ବ୍ରାଉନସୁଗାର ଏବଂ ୧୫ଶହ କ୍ୱିଣ୍ଟାଲରୁ ଅଧିକ ଗଂଜେଇ ଜବତ କରାଯାଇଛି ।
