ବଣ ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ପରିବେଷ୍ଟିତ ଏହି ଦୁଇ ଗାଁ ରେ ଶତାଧିକ ପରିବାର ବସବାସ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ହାତୀ, ଅନ୍ୟ ବନ୍ୟଜନ୍ତୁ, ସରୀସୃପ ଆଦି ଭୟ ଲାଗି ରହିଥାଏ। ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷ ତଳେ ବଜ୍ରପାତରେ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍‌ ଟ୍ରାନ୍ସଫର୍ମର ପୋଡ଼ିଯିବା ପରଠାରୁ ଗାଁ ଅନ୍ଧାରରେ ରହିଛି। ସେବେଠାରୁ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀ ବିଜୁଳି ଆଲୋକ ପାଇବାରୁ ବଞ୍ଚିତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ଗାଁକୁ ଚାରିପାର୍ଶ୍ୱରୁ ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ଘେରି ରହିଥିବାରୁ ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାରେ ଘରୁ ବାହାରିବା ପାଇଁ ଭୟ କରୁଥିବା ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

ଏ ନେଇ ସେମାନେ ବାରମ୍ବାର ବିଭାଗୀୟ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଆକର୍ଷଣ କରିଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ସୁଫଳ ପାଉ ନ ଥିବାରୁ ଜିଲାପାଳଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତକ୍ଷେପ ଦାବି କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଅପରପକ୍ଷେ ଜଣେ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍‌ ବିଭାଗର କର୍ମଚାରୀ କହି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟକ୍ରମେ ଟ୍ରାନ୍ସଫର୍ମର ବସାଇବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାୟ ତେର ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା ଠକି ନେଇଥିବା ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀ ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି। ଲକଡାଉନ ସମୟରେ ସରକାର ଅନ୍‌ଲାଇନରେ ପିଲାଙ୍କ ପାଠପଢା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରିଥିଲେ। ହେଲେ ଏହି ଦୁଇ ଗ୍ରାମର ପିଲାମାନେ ଏଥିରୁ ବଞ୍ଚିତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ। ପାଠ ପଢ଼ିବାକୁ ଆଗ୍ରହ ରଖିଥିବା ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଡିବିରି ଏବଂ ଲଣ୍ଠନ ଏକମାତ୍ର ଭରସା ପାଲଟିଛି। ଏଭଳି ସମସ୍ୟା ଜାରି ରହିଲେ ଛାତ୍ରୀଛାତ୍ରଙ୍କ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ ଅନ୍ଧାରକୁ ଠେଲି ହୋଇଯାଉଥିବା ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

 Hundreds of families live in these two villages, surrounded by forests. Elephants, other wildlife, reptiles, etc. are terrified. The village has been in darkness since the power transformer was struck by lightning less than two years ago. Since then, villagers have been deprived of access to electricity. Villagers have expressed fears of leaving their homes in the evening as the village is surrounded by forests. They repeatedly appealed to departmental officials, but to no avail. Villagers, on the other hand, have been accused of defrauding about thirteen thousand rupees to install the transformer in stages, according to an electricity department employee. During the lockdown, the government arranged for children to study online. However, the children of these two villages were deprived of it. Dibiri and lanterns have become the only hope for children who are interested in reading the text. The villagers revealed that the future of the students was being pushed into the dark if such problems continued.
