The growing mosquito population was responsible for infectious diseases. But that waste has now made many self-sufficient. The financial situation of many families is clear from the biofuels produced from it. The Dhenkanal District Bhuban NAC, built at the Micro Composting Center (M4CC), has a smile on the faces of 14 SHG members, with plans to expand it in the coming days.

 The use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers is increasing in the crop. Although this increases productivity, it still has adverse effects on the body. Therefore, the emphasis is now on the application of organic fertilizers in integrated agriculture. The ‘Mo Fertilizer’ scheme has been launched in NAC, Urban and Metropolitan Corporation under the direction of the state government with the aim of making high quality compost from the daily waste coming out of urban areas and using it in agriculture. Accordingly, two micro-composting centers (MCCs) have been set up in Bhubaneswar NAC since 2020. No. 16 of the NAC. Ward Ragdi Canal and No. 2. The two MCCs are located near the Women's College under the ward. The local Gorakhnath self-help group is responsible for its management. Sixteen SHHG workers are employed in the production of manure. Garbage from 15 wards under the NAC is being collected and coming to the MCC. Compost is being made after the waste is isolated. To date, more than 1,000 kg of manure has been produced from both MCCs. 400 kg at a price of Rs 20 per kg. Sold out. SHHG members are being paid dividends. Demand for this specialty has grown significantly as a result of recent corporate scandals. It is used in kitchen gardens, floriculture, and home-grown luxury plants. There are plans to expand the MCC in the coming days. "If the fertilizer production increases, it will be sold directly to the forest department, the horticulture department and the agriculture department," he said.
