ଜଳୁ ନାହିଁ ଷ୍ଟ୍ରିଟ ଲାଇଟ, ବଢୁଛି ଅପରାଧ l

ବାରିପଦା(ବ୍ୟୁରୋ ରିପୋର୍ଟ) :-ମୟୂରଭଞ୍ଜ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ପୌର ଓ ବିଜ୍ଞାପିତ ପରିଷଦ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଆଲୋକୀକରଣ ପାଇଁ କୋଟି କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ କରାଯାଇଛି। ମାତ୍ର ରକ୍ଷଣାବେକ୍ଷଣ ଅଭାବରୁ ୫ ହଜାର ଷ୍ଟ୍ରିଟ୍‌ ଲାଇଟ ଜଳୁ ନାହିଁ। ଏହାର ସୁଯୋଗରେ ଅସାମାଜିକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଉଛି। ସହରବାସୀ ଦେଉଥିବା ହୋଲ୍ଡିଂ ଟ୍ୟାକ୍ସ କାମରେ ଲାଗୁ ନ ଥିବାରୁ ଅସନ୍ତୋଷ ଦେଖାଦେଇଛି ।

ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ବାରିପଦା ମ୍ୟୁନିସିପାଲଟି ଅଧୀନ ୨୮ ୱାର୍ଡରେ ୨ଲକ୍ଷରୁ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱ ଲୋକ ବାସ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। 

କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଯୋଜନା ଏନର୍ଜି ଏଫିସିଏନ୍‌ସି ସର୍ଭିସ ଲିମିଟେଡ (ଇଇଏସ୍‌ଏଲ୍‌) ଜରିଆରେ ଆସ୍ଥା ସଂସ୍ଥା ପକ୍ଷରୁ ୨୦୧୪-୧୫ରେ ଆଲୋକୀକରଣ ପାଇଁ ୮୫୦୦ ଏଲ୍‌ଇଡ ଷ୍ଟ୍ରିଟ୍‌ ଲାଇଟ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ସମସ୍ତ ୱାର୍ଡର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ରାସ୍ତାରେ ୩୫ ୱାଟ୍‌ରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ୧୧୦ୱାଟ୍‌ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଏଲ୍‌ଇଡି ଲାଇଟ ଲଗାଯାଇଛି । ଏହାର ମରାମତି ପାଇଁ ପରିଚାଳନା ଦାୟିତ୍ୱରେ ଥିବା ସଂସ୍ଥା ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଜଣେ ମାତ୍ର ଟେକ୍ନସିଆନ ରହିଛନ୍ତି। ଲାଇଟ୍‌ଗୁଡ଼ିକ କଣ୍ଟ୍ରୋଲ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ବାରିପଦା ମ୍ୟୁନିସିପାଲଟିରେ ୨୧୬ ସିସିଏମ୍‌ଏସ୍‌ ବକ୍ସ ରହିଛି। ପ୍ରତି ବାକ୍ସରେ ୫୦ରୁ ୧୦୦ ଲାଇଟକୁ କଣ୍ଟ୍ରୋଲ କରିବାର କ୍ଷମତା ରହିଥିବା ବେଳେ ସମୟ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାରୁ ସକାଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଜଳିଥାଏ । ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ୩୩ଟି ସିସିଏମ୍‌ଏସ୍‌ ବକ୍ସ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଅଚଳ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ଶହେରୁ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱ ବକ୍ସ ଆଶିଂକ ଅଚଳ ରହିଛି। ଫଳରେ ୫ହଜାରରୁ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱ ଲାଇଟ ଦୀର୍ଘଦିନ ହେଲା ଜଳୁନାହିଁ l

No street lights on, crime on the rise. 

Baripada (Beuro Report) :- Billions of rupees have been spent on lighting in the municipal and notified council areas of Baripada-Mayurbhanj district. But due to lack of maintenance, 5,000 street lights were not lit. As a result, anti-social activities are on the rise. Dissatisfaction has been expressed as the holding tax paid by city dwellers has not been implemented.

 More than 200,000 people live in the 28 wards under the Baripada

municipality of the district. Through the central government's plan Energy Efficence Services Limited (EES7L4), the Astha organization provided 6,500 LED street lights for lighting in 2014-15. The main roads in all wards have LED lights ranging from 35 watts to 110 watts. There is only one technician in the district on behalf of the organization in charge of repairing it. The Baripada municipality has 214 CCMS9 boxes to control the lights. Each box has the ability to control 50 to 100 lights, while burning from evening to morning on time. Currently, 33 CCM7SX boxes are completely obsolete, while more than a hundred boxes are partially obsolete. As a result, more than 5,000 lights have not been lit for a long time
